What changes the price

The size of the home, how often the cleaner comes and the state it is in on the first visit. A first clean often takes longer than the ones after it, and some cleaners price it on its own.

Extras such as ovens, windows and inside cupboards can add up. List the ones you want before you ask, so every quote covers the same work.

Before the first clean

Put away loose clutter so the cleaners spend their time on surfaces and floors. Tell them which rooms matter most to you, and point out anything delicate.

If there are pets, say so when you book, and say where they will be on the day.
